How to Get Involved

Attention: Dancers, Dance Studios, and Companies

If dancing is your destiny then it’s your time to shine at the Destined 2 Dance (D2D) Awards Show. The 2nd Annual Tri-City D2D Awards Show will be held in Oklahoma City on September 27th, 2008. This invitation is extended to all dancers and studios in the Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Texas area.

The purpose of the Destined 2 Dance Awards Show is to showcase the best local talent, acknowledge dancers, teachers, and studios, and help others appreciate the art of body movement

in motion to rhythmic beats. Benefits of participants include recognition for your talent and advertisement for local studios.

Ways to get involve include:

Nominating dancers and studios, performing at the show, and or supporting the cause. Nomination process

Phase One: Nominate someone or a group for the various categories. Phase Two: Online voting. The top nominee’s information is placed online for everyone to vote. Then, the person or group with the most votes in that category will be the winner.

Results from the online voting poll will be revealed on the night of the show.

Many dancers will have the opportunity to showcase their talent during the awards show. You can register your group to perform; each dancer must sell two tickets. Supporting the Cause - Get involved by being a Destined 2 Dance sponsor or volunteer during the event. Destined 2 Dance Awards’ show is a proud sponsor of the Dancers Against Cancer Foundation. A percentage of the proceeds from the awards show are donated to cancer research.

Once again, The 2nd Annual Destined 2 Dance Show will be held in Oklahoma City on Saturday, 9/27/2008, location TBA. Destined 2 Dance will host several workshops for interested participants.

The first workshop will be held in Oklahoma on 7/19/2008 at J Rogers Performing Arts Studio.
